Same Deutz-Fahr appoints Dealer Development Manager for UK & Ireland

The SDF Group’s decision to appoint Dealer Development Managers in key European countries has resulted in such an appointment now being made in the UK.
Rob Edwards, who has held several senior management positions within Same Deutz-Fahr, now takes up the role of Dealer Development Manager UK & Ireland.
“It’s a new strategic position which the Group clearly feels is now essential if the expansion of our business is to continue in line with our expectations,” he says.
“There are two parts to it – one is to establish new dealers, particularly in areas where we do not, as yet, have adequate coverage, and the other is to ensure our existing dealer network is well supported in terms of branding, machinery, servicing and parts.”
Commenting on the new position, Same Deutz-Fahr’s CEO, Mark Casement says: “Rob Edwards’ appointment as Dealer Development Manager UK & Ireland is a key role for us. We will now be in a position to provide an even greater focus on the management of our existing dealer network and, in doing so, help their businesses expand and succeed. We shall also be able to increase our UK coverage by continuing our policy of bringing well established dealers into our network.
“Rob has had a vast experience in working with dealers which makes him an ideal choice for this important position.”
