Zaragoza, February 14th, 2012; SAME DEUTZ-FAHR (SDF), a leading manufacturer of tractors, combine harvesters, engines and agricultural machinery, completes the SAME range of specialised tractors with the launch of three new models with equal sized wheels, capable of top-flight performance and specifically designed to meet the needs of the orchard and vineyard sector.

This latest extension to the range is the result of an agreement with the Italian firm ANTONIO CARRARO, a leading manufacturer of multi-purpose tractors since 1960, whose manufacturing philosophy is fully in line with the high standards of reliability and versatility typified by SAME's current range. This agreement forms the basis for a profitable collaboration with a view to possible joint product development in the future.

The new Walker range is chracterised by its compact dimensions which offer a high degree of manoeuvrability, and by a manufacturing philosophy which focuses on reliability and long service life.
The new range comprises three models in the 30-50hp power class with compact engines, ideally suited to this type of tractor, mechanical transmissions with up to 12 gears and a top speed of 30 km/h, hydraulic services and lift capacities suitable for many types of specialised applications.

The Walker 30, 40 and 50 tractors have been designed for a wide range of applications, particularly for work in hillside orchards and vineyards, where exceptional manoeuvrability and stability results in higher productivity and superior operator comfort.

In creating the Walker tractor range, SAME has responded to the needs of those farmers who want simplicity of use combined with compact dimensions. The manufacturer has completed its specialised tractor range with products capable of meeting the needs of all types of customer.
