The FARMotion 35 engine was developed specifically for agricultural applications. The unit powering the Argon 100 offers an impressive torque reserve of 35% and delivers 102 HP (75 kW) at just 2000 rpm. Boasting key features such as a common rail injection system with injection pressures up to 2000 bar, a turbocharger with intercooler and wastegate and a viscostatic fan, and compliant with Stage V emissions standards, the FARMotion 35 is truly a state of the art engine. A 75 litre fuel tank lets these tractors work for long hours on end, while the 8” PowerCore intake air filter with dust ejector and cooling pack with pull-out protective grille for easier cleaning ensure extended service intervals.

The superlative efficiency typical of a mechanical transmission is offered in two variants, both of which based on a 5 speed, 3 range main gearbox. The first of these two configurations (with 15+15 speeds) allows for a top speed 40 Km/h, while the second configuration (15+15 ECO) enables the tractor to reach its maximum road speed (also 40 Km/h) at an economical engine speed of just 1800 rpm. With both transmission variants, minimum groundspeed is just 298 m/h at maximum engine rpm. Electrohydraulically engaged 4WD and differential locks are offered as standard. For safety and reliability even in the rice paddy, the transmission is equipped with special watertight seals.

The potent rear lift with the new EasyLift system boasts a maximum load capacity of 3500 kg, and works in conjunction with a hydraulic system offered with a maximum oil flow rate of 48 or 56 l/min and up to 6 mechanically controlled couplers. Completing the package is a choice of PTOs with up to three speed modes(540/540 ECO/1000), making the tractors of the new Argon family ideal multirole machines ideal for a wide variety of agricultural tasks. A dedicated pump, fitted as standard, ensures impeccably smooth steering action even at minimum engine speed.

The revised driver zone is more comfortable than ever, with the new distributor controls and the EasyLift button situated ergonomically to the left of the operator seat. The digital instrument cluster integrated in the dashboard provides the driver with complete, clear and immediately legible information relative to the state and functions of the tractor. A two-pillar rear roll-bar is available to ensure adequate protection for driver. Also available as an FOPS certified variant, this can also be fitted with a practical optional sun shade canopy and work lights.
